Creative Gigs

I am always looking for models for any number of non-commercial creative projects I am working on. Let me say up front that this is, generally speaking, not the most fun work there is. That is, unless you like to stand around in high heels for 30 minutes while you are coated in corn syrup. Also, you will need to get to be able to get yourself to my studio, which is located in Fair Oaks California near Sunrise and Madison (about 20 minutes East of Sacramento on either Highway 50 or 80). So - things to note ...

Firstly, it's unpaid.

Secondly, for a lot of the gigs, I can't even offer TFP/TFCD (or rather, there might not be a photo you want). For gigs where TFCD isn't possible I do offer time for time. That means if you spend an hour posing for me just to get a shot of your leg that get get an hour of studio time taking photos that you want.

So, my model needs are as follows

• Stand-ins - For a lot of the fun pictures that I do I use myself as the model. Setting up the lighting, posing, and taking test shots solo is an exercize in frustration. So what I need is a stunt double for test pictures while we refine the lighting, posing, and whatever else is involved in the shot. Then when everything is all dialed in we switch places for the final shot. There would *NOT* be a usable picture of any form in a shoot like this. I will be happy to provide portraiture services of equal time though. You don't need to worry about outfit, hair, or makeup of course. You do need to be roughly near my size though (I'm 6'1 barefoot), so if you are 5'3 this would not be a good option. This is generally somewhat time consuming, and there is a lot of down time during it. A good fit for this would be someone interested in photography and studio lighting, or perhaps someone who is bored and there is nothing on TV. I do shots like this on a recurring basis every couple of weeks as time permits.
• Creative comedic Shots - I try not to reuse models for some of the Awesome Photography and Daily Photographer shots I do just for fun so I always need fresh blood here. Typically I will have a couple of different ones I am working on, and I occasionally need specific looks or body types to go along with the poses and outfits. A lot of these shots tend to be costumed, or just body parts (legs often, and high heels pretty much mandatory).
• Fine Art Shots - I'm working on a few different collections. Mostly variations of silhouetted shots
